Title: Presales
Post by: las65 on May 09, 2016, 05:34:07 am
Are the remaining presales through Ticketmaster?  In particular Chicago?  I wonder because Ticketmaster doesn't show any info for Mellencamp in Chicago.
Thanks! :)

We have not yet been given the ticketing link by the tour promoter. You could look up what ticketing system the Chicago Theatre normally uses, that ticket link probably won't be up until next Monday.

Hi Tony.  Any update on Chicago presale?  I thought it was in May but it is showing October on the tour page.  Thanks!

This is what we have in the show detail page and HOME page of Mellencamp.com. We just made the presale the day before the show as the system requires a date.

Please note that the public on sale and pre-sale for John's October 25th Chicago Theater show, in Chicago, IL have been delayed until June. We will have updated ticket sale information next week.

Just curious -- the presale for the Chicago show is tomorrow, but I haven't received a code. Have they been distributed?

MELLENCAMP.COM PRE-SALE INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Register to become a free member of the Mellencamp.com Community through the COMMUNITY page on Mellencamp.com.

Step 2 - Consult the details of your show on the TOUR page to see the date and time of your pre-sale. Click the blue information icon for complete details about your show.

Step 3 - Return to Mellencamp.com the morning of your show's pre-sale and log into the website.

Step 4 - On the TOUR page, approximately 10 minutes before the pre-sale begins, we will post a pre-sale ticket password ONLY for logged in members. You MUST REFRESH the TOUR page in your browser to see the password, it will appear in the column next to whichever show you choose.

Step 5 - Click the link to go to the online ticket seller and enter the password where required to gain access to the pre-sale and then complete your purchase.

TIP: We suggest you click the pre-sale tickets link for your show and pre-register with the ticket seller before our pre-sale begins to avoid any check out issues during your purchase.

TIP: There are often other pre-sales for John's show. You might try to find and use the passwords from those pre-sales. Credit card companies, venues, tour promoters, ticket sellers often all have their own pre-sales separate from our Mellencamp.com offering.

Typically there is a 4 ticket limit per Community Member per show (many shows on the Plain Spoken tour will have a 6 ticket limit). Our pre-sale has a limited number of tickets and will likely sell out. Tickets are first come, first served and there are no guarantees that you will get a ticket through our pre-sale.

Anybody else having problems obtaining pre-sale tickets for Chicago?  I have the password, but Ticketmaster isn't showing access to actually buy the tickets.

Must be you or your computer. I got some at 1100. I just pulled up Main Floor 4R two minutes ago.

Argh!  My company firewall screwed me over again.  I just had my wife buy our tickets, but 4 hours after they went on sale.  I never had the problem with Ticketmaster before.  :(

There was huge ticket demand at the start of the presale yesterday, there are still presale tickets available with fan club password freedom or try the radio/venue presale with password spoken
