Title: DO you know the TIME John comes on after the warm-up act in this tour
Post by: jpstar21 on April 16, 2016, 08:50:54 pm
Im seeing JM on tuesday in CT. I have a small family situation and wanted to time my arrival with the ending of The warm-up act. I know you have been on the road for a few concerts on this leg and was wondering if you can let me know the approx Times ..
I really appreciate the help in advance.
Thanks
JP

Well, I saw him at a casino so the time was cut short. Carlene Carter went on at 8pm and John went on between 8:45pm and 9pm. Regular shows may be different, because there is a longer setlist. I'd assume if the show starts at 7:30pm or 8pm, at a regular show, expect John to come out an hour later.

Do you really think the shows are different in the casinos vs the "show halls"?
Hey..Ive been seeing mellencamp since i was 18...and Im sorry he didnt smile alot to the crowd.. Lots of people pay incredible money like you did.. You would at least want some great upbeat feedback with the crowd..

YES they are! Do NOT go to a casino show! They're much shorter and lamer and I didn't have as much fun at all. I almost feel like crying... I love John I almost feel like I wasted my time and money when I went to that show... Theaters and halls are WAY better. The time I much longer and the show is totally worth it. I speak from experience with both casino and theater shows.
And yes, his band members were VERY engaged with the audience and smiles a whole lot. I even met Miriam which was the highlight of the day. John, on the other hand... I don't know, he just seemed pissed off about something. You know, if a band is unhappy, so will the audience. Such a shame that he didn't even flash one smile to us. I know he's thankful for his fans and they're the only reason why he even continues these tours. That's why I'll always love John Mellencamp. But it was hard to tell at that show. I feel like crying again. I never thought that I'd go to a John Mellencamp show and be so upset that I felt like crying after. What happened!? :'(
