Andy's wife is a long time member of Billy Joel's road team, Andy is a very good friend with the Billy Joel band and even was at one time a fill in guitar player for the Billy Joel musicial Movin' Out on broadway when he wasn't working with John. Andy is very much still with John. You can often catch Andy also working with Mott the Hoople lead singer Ian Hunter in his down time from John.
