Title: John Mellencamp signed a Fender Stratocaster Guitar to raffle for High School Post by: sheilafarmer on March 09, 2013, 10:05:09 pm In December, Brown County Junior High students triumphed over larger schools from all areas of the state in the annual “We the People” competition. They earned the right to represent Indiana at the Middle School National Finals competition in May. Over the next two months, they must raise $33,000 to ensure that the entire group is able to participate.

Raffle tickets are $1 each at the Nashville BP gas station, Farmers Insurance in Nashville, Kritzers Feed Store in Gnaw Bone, and Brown County High School boys’ basketball games, 5:30-9 p.m. Feb. 2 and 15. They can also be purchased by calling 812-360-4813. If you have a venue or event at which tickets can be sold, please call 812-360-4813. Additional fundraisers are also in the works.
