Title: Looking for people in the Western Kentucky/Bowling Green Area
Post by: sharonc on April 23, 2012, 11:34:54 am
We are looking for anyone that lives in the area of the Bowling Green concert to report back to us if you see any advertising about the upcoming show on May 19th. Any news articles in the local papers? See a billboard?  Here about it on the radio?

It would be greatly appreciated!  You can reply back to this thread or email us at [email protected]

Just got home from the Bowling Green concert. It was spectacular!!!!! One of the best I've even been to. I have seen John several times but the music was wonderful!!!! There was a great violin tune that Miriam did. Would anyone know the name of it? I simply loved it. It sounded a little like "The Old Rugged Cross," but I am musically challeged and am not sure. I could have stayed there all night it was sooooo good!! Did miss "Hurt so Good" and I just can't get used to the new version of "Jack and Diane," but other than that, it was perfect!!!

Independence Bank gave Farm Aid $50,000! That was great too.

My memory is horrible, but he did more of the old ones...Jackie Brown, Pink Houses, Check it Out, I Saw Her First, Jack and Diane, Cherry Bomb, Rocking in the USA. I know there were many more, but I can't remember. He didn't do as much talking as he does when it's a smaller group. There were 22,000 tickets for the concert. It was at the football stadium at WKU. There were tons of people there. It was GREAT!!!!!
