very good writing.  thats funny your grandfather lived in a small town called thornton.  i lived in a town called thornton, however, the population is way smaller 800 people and to this day and if you really want to visit a small town lehr north dakota would be the place where my dad was born in 1910. population 80 even today. now thats a small town.

Many songs speak to me and reflect my day to day life and also those people that have been and continue to be in it.

Rest assured there are plenty of "small town"  folk with kind caring mentalities in the big city too.
