I'm going to be driving through John's hometown tomorrow..are there any signs, statues, or general John places to see or visit?

In Seymour if you stop at the Jackson Co. visitor's center, you are able to purchase a driving tour that will guide you through the town and various John-specific sites!  I believe there is still a map of sites as well!!

Enjoy your tour!

Visit a small town in Jackson County called MEDORA. This is where Hurt so Good Video was made, and it was also used in several other videos....there is a covered bridge there, longest in the country, just saved and restored. This is where he was for part of PINK HOUSES, you see large beems...its inside the covered bridge. Get a map head from Seymour through Brownstown and head towards Salem Indiana, you will be in a community called Vallonia......you will see alot of the barns, churches etc in his videos.
I was born in Seymour and raised in Medora, if you are a thrill seeker, there is a train tunnel that is "haunted" its called the Tunnelton Train Tunnel. You will need to take hwy 50 out to Tunnelton (Lawrence county) I am the great grandaughter of the "ghost". Have fun, southern Indiana is beautiful. If you take hwy 446 on the causeway at the lake, you can see John's home. (Bloomington)
